On the 4th, Taeyang, G-Dragon and Daesung each posted the album art image of T.O.P's first full-length solo album "ANOTHER DIMENSION" on their respective social media accounts.
They did not add any special comments, but they directly announced T.O.P's album release and quietly supported T.O.P's new start after many years of sharing highs and lows together.
T.O.P announced his comeback as a singer by releasing his first full-length solo album "ANOTHER DIMENSION" on the 3rd. This new record is T.O.P's solo album released 13 years after "DOOM DADA" in 2013, containing a total of 11 tracks with the double title tracks "완전 미쳤어! (Studio54)" and "DESPERADO(데스페라도)".
Earlier, T.O.P stopped activities after receiving a 10-month prison sentence with a two-year suspended sentence for marijuana smoking in 2016. He left Big Bang in 2023 and made remarks about retiring from the entertainment industry, but he resumed activities by appearing in Squid Game season 2 in 2024.
In an interview at the time, he drew a line regarding returning to Big Bang, saying "I thought 'Spring, Summer, Fall, Winter' was the last project," "Seeing that fans still want a reunion and hold hope made me not so much angry as unable to hold such feelings and made my heart ache," and "I feel guilty toward the members and I think I'll have to live with feeling sorry for the rest of my life."
Meanwhile, Big Bang, celebrating their 20th anniversary, will open their 20th anniversary activities by performing on the Coachella main stage in Indio, California, on the 12th and 19th.
YG Entertainment also said it has agreed to hold a performance with the members to commemorate Big Bang's 20th anniversary this year, raising expectations among global fans.
