The group &TEAM released a track sampler on the 3rd that lets listeners preview some of the sounds from their Japanese mini album 3rd 'We on Fire'.
The track sampler was composed of a total of four videos. From boys getting into a car to enjoy a drive to flames raging fiercely over the ground, the different-atmosphere videos were paired with sampled portions of the album tracks, sensibly expressing the new release's concept and mood. Including upbeat melodies as well as rock, trap beats and piano, various musical elements were contained, heralding an expanded musical world for &TEAM.
In particular, guessing which song each video and audio clip connected to added fun and increased fans' immersion. Portions of 'Sakura-iro Yell'—pre-released on the 14th of last month—as well as the album's title track of the same name, and the album tracks 'Bewitched' and 'HOTLINE' were revealed through this sampler. The album includes a total of six songs, including Korean versions of 'We on Fire' and 'Bewitched'.
A large number of global hitmakers participated to raise the musical completeness. Bang Si-hyuk, who has been with &TEAM since their formation, Soma Genda, JULiA LEWiS who produced 'EL CLÚB' from Bad Bunny's Grammy-winning album, singer-songwriter Ohashi Chippoke who worked with &TEAM from their early days, Andy Love who contributed to songs by TOMORROW X TOGETHER, Alex Karlsson who has credits on songs by BTS and LE SSERAFIM, and producer-songwriter Cameron Warren, among others, lent their talents.
'We on Fire' is a work that captures &TEAM's current state as they aim to sprint forward once again. Based on the team's strengthened cohesion, wide genre versatility and intense energy, it is expected to clearly show new aspects of the nine members. After achieving meaningful results with last year's Korean debut album 'Back to Life' and confirming an expanded Asia tour, attention is focused on the changes &TEAM will show through this new release.
&TEAM will first release all tracks and the title track's music video on the 13th, then officially release the album on the 21st of the same month.
