On the 3rd, the web variety show "Kang Ho-dong's neighborhood bookstore" released an episode in which AKMU (AKMU) Lee Suhyun and Lee Chanhyuk appeared as guests and talked with Kang Ho-dong
On that day Lee Suhyun recalled the period before Lee Chanhyuk's enlistment and the early days of AKMU activities, saying, "My brother did so much for me. But at the time I don't think I realized just how much he did."
Lee Suhyun said, "I thought, 'Maybe we were about 50-50?' Then my brother went to the military when I knew nothing, and I had to fill the gap by myself. So I confidently declared, 'I should make my own album' and made one, but this wasn't it," she confessed, drawing laughter.
She continued, "I realized, 'Oh, I was arrogant. I didn't have producing ability.' I thought if I set my mind to it I could compose and that 'doing it like oppa isn't hard,' but I realized 'this isn't it.' I have things I'm good at separately, and I can't of course do what oppa is good at,' and I was really shocked. The truth is oppa was doing about 90% of it," she revealed.
Meanwhile, on that day Lee Chanhyuk mentioned his sister Suhyun, who struggled with a slump, saying, "I felt like Suhyun was left alone," which made listeners feel heavy-hearted. Then Lee Suhyun also surprised people by confessing her feelings at the time, saying, "There was a time I thought I should quit AKMU."
Lee Chanhyuk said, "Even if you fall into a deep pit, I will hold your hand and jump with you," and retelling this anecdote once again brought a sense of poignancy.
