Episode 5 of the KBS1 daily drama "Our joyful good day" (written by Nam Seon-hye, directed by Lee Jae-sang, produced by Monster Union, Seion Media, Contents G), which airs on the 3rd, shows Jo Eun-ae (Um Hyun-kyung) beginning a full-scale effort to recover "Joy," which was taken by Gangsu Construction, amid mounting tension over Go Gang-su (Lee Ho-jae)'s deteriorating health.
Earlier, Go Gyeol (Yoon Jong-hoon) received the shocking news that his grandfather Go Gang-su had been given a terminal diagnosis and hurried back to Korea. He was bewildered by Go Gang-su's words urging him to compete in the succession race of the Gangsu Group with his brother Go Min-ho (Jung Yoon) and his father Go Dae-chi (Yoon Da-hoon). Meanwhile, Jo Eun-ae learned from the former co-CEO Han Ji-hoon (Seo Dong-gyu), who had fled, the full story of how "Lucky Joy Tech" was sold to Gangsu Construction. Faced with the harsh reality that there was no way to get the company back, he revealed a complex mix of anger, anxiety and bitter laughter.
In a still released ahead of the broadcast, Go Gyeol gazes at the sleeping Go Gang-su with a pale face, creating a poignant atmosphere. At that moment, Go Dae-chi enters the hospital room and bursts into anger at Go Gyeol, raising questions about what crack has formed between father and son.
Seo Kwon-sik (Jung Ho-bin) approaches the distraught Go Gyeol, asks his thoughts on Chairman Go Gang-su's proposal and utters a meaningful remark. The line piques curiosity about what variable it might introduce to Go Gyeol's decision.
Meanwhile, Jo Eun-ae looks up at the Gangsu Construction building with a grim expression, showing her firm determination to recover "Joy." Learning that Go Min-ho, head of strategic planning, was behind the transfer of "Lucky Joy Tech" to Gangsu Construction, Jo Eun-ae's attempt to reclaim "Joy," which means everything to her, draws anticipation.
