The group SEVENTEEN (S.COUPS, Jeonghan, Joshua, Jun, Hoshi, Wonwoo, Woozi, THE 8, Mingyu, DK, Seungkwan, Vernon, Dino) will spectacularly cap off a seven-month world tour.
SEVENTEEN will hold 'SEVENTEEN WORLD TOUR [NEW_] ENCORE' at Incheon Asiad Main Stadium on June 4-5. It is the finale of the world tour that set sail at the same venue last September. The concert will be streamed live online as well as held offline, gathering global fans.
On the 3rd, PLEDIS Entertainment Co. said SEVENTEEN will not only perform stages that received praise during this world tour but will also add new selections to show a wide musical spectrum. Fans will also be able to see their signature passionate performances and vivid band live. In addition, extravagant visuals befitting a large venue and organic staging will further demonstrate SEVENTEEN's true value as a "performance craftsmen."
'SEVENTEEN WORLD TOUR [NEW_]', held in 14 cities around the world, was a showcase of SEVENTEEN's limitless possibilities. They revealed a broad spectrum by performing hits such as 'THUNDER,' 'LOVE, MONEY, FAME (feat. DJ Khaled),' 'HOT,' and 'HIT,' as well as solo stages from their fifth full-length album for the first time. Major foreign outlets including Billboard praised it as a "show full of heat and catharsis."
Their powerful ticketing power also stood out. SEVENTEEN became the first K-pop act on a single tour to sell out Hong Kong's largest stadium, Kai Tak Stadium, four times. Prestigious large venues such as Los Angeles' BMO Stadium, Singapore National Stadium, and the four major domes in Japan also hosted their stages. Their box-office strength is reflected in global metrics as well.
