Hearts2Hearts (Hearts2Hearts, SM Entertainment) will sing the opening theme for SAMG Entertainment's animation 'Catch! Teenieping' season 4 'Sweet and sour Catch! Teenieping' for the version airing in Japan.
'Sweet and sour Catch! Teenieping' is an animation with a story that unfolds when the 'magic sugar ball' disappears from Dessert Village, and the eponymous opening theme sung by Hearts2Hearts blends lovely vocals and an upbeat melody to throw wide open the prologue to a new adventure.
In particular, Hearts2Hearts released their first Japanese song in March with the Japanese version of 'RUDE!' and now, by singing this opening theme, will present their first OST since debut, drawing attention for once again collaborating with a global animation IP.
Also, on April 8 the Catch! Teenieping official YouTube channel and others will first release the anime opening TV version video containing this song, which is expected to attract high interest.
Also, Sweet and sour Catch! Teenieping will premiere on April 12 on TV Tokyo's new program Animori!, and from May 16 it will also be available on the children's and animation specialty channel Kids Station, so Hearts2Hearts' opening theme is expected to fill living rooms across Japan through major local channels.
Meanwhile, Hearts2Hearts has topped the Circle Chart weekly streaming chart for three consecutive weeks with 'RUDE!', showing strong streaming power, and will appear at TV Asahi's global music festival The Performance in Yokohama on April 12 and at KCON JAPAN 2026 held at Makuhari Messe in Chiba Prefecture on May 8.
