BTS, which is sweeping global charts, will surprise fans with a new song.
BTS will release the deluxe vinyl of its fifth full-length album 'Arirang' (ARIRANG) on the 3rd. This vinyl includes a surprise new song, "Come Over," added to the 14 tracks on the original album, bringing the total to 15 songs. In particular, this song is only available on the deluxe vinyl, adding to its special appeal.
"Come Over" was produced with Suga participating in production to raise its quality. RM and J-Hope are also credited. Stadium anthem and pop genres are blended, and the spacious-feeling synthesizers and resonant vocals give it a grand feel. A heavy beat that evokes stomping and clapping as if filling a stadium, and a hummed-flowing guitar were added.
Also, with lyrics such as "when an empty-feeling night comes / I call you again like this / Yeah I'm lost, can I come over," it sings of the heart that, even in moments of being lost, ultimately seeks "you" again. The candid confession of knocking on the door after wandering and asking whether such a "me" can be accepted connects to the feelings toward ARMY, who have always stood by BTS.
Meanwhile, Arirang is BTS's new release after 3 years and 9 months, with chairman Bang Si-hyuk serving as executive producer. This album is writing unprecedented records on major charts around the world. It simultaneously topped the U.S. Billboard main album chart "Billboard 200" and the main song chart "Hot 100" (April 4 issue). On the "Global (excluding U.S.)" chart, the album's tracks densely occupied positions 1 through 10, achieving the chart's first-ever complete lineup. The title track "SWIM" held the No. 1 position on Spotify's "Daily Top Songs Global" for 13 consecutive days (March 20–April 1).
