Problem Child in House Park Eun-young recently shared news that she opened a restaurant.
On the 2nd, KBS 2TV Problem Child in House (hereafter "옥문아") aired and featured MZ chef who shone on the hot cooking survival show Culinary Class Wars, "Chinese cuisine goddess" Chef Park Eun-young and "baby beast" Chef Kim Si-hyun grants.
That day, when Park Eun-young received a round of applause along with news of her personal restaurant opening, she said, "It seems like we are getting a lot of attention right after opening."
In fact, Park Eun-young's restaurant is known to have all reservations filled for a month and to receive reservation inquiries on an ongoing basis.
Kim Sook asked, "Has anything changed since you became an owner?" and Park Eun-young said, "There are truly many things I can do my way. I can cook as I want and that's good," but added, "It has definitely become harder because I have to care about the staff and sales compared to before."
Also, Park Eun-young, who has 12 employees, complained, "Payday is scary. The closer it gets, the more intense the sales pressure becomes." Then Joo Woo-jae mentioned Kim Jong Kook, who showed a biased reaction as a fellow An-yang native, saying, "You don't have to worry. Someone from Anyang will gather people and go." Kim Jong Kook joked, "I'll gather people from Anyang and go."
Meanwhile, Yang Se-chan asked, "I heard reservations are a one-minute cut." Kim Si-hyun said, "There is a restaurant reservation app. On the opening day more than 1,500 people are watching," which drew attention.
Park Eun-young said that at the time of the opening, season 1 winner Kwon Seong-jun and Chef Choi Hyun-seok of Culinary Class Wars visited and said, "Everyone says it's delicious but points out, 'This has lost its balance.'" She added, "I tend to reflect a lot of what the chefs say."
She said that her "mentor," Chef Lu Ching Lai, also visited. When asked about the reaction, Park Eun-young said, "He said he would hold back because he thought many people would be talking to me now."
The MCs asked whether Chef Lu Ching Lai gave any particular advice about opening the restaurant. Park Eun-young said, "He didn't like it very much. He said it's because there's a boom of chefs now so some do well, but many actually don't, and because he's experienced the food service industry he told me he wished I wouldn't do it."
She added, "He told me, 'You do it yourself, so why can't I?'" which drew laughter.
Meanwhile, Park Eun-young is scheduled to hold her wedding in May at the Shilla Hotel in Jangchung-dong, Jung-gu, Seoul. Her fiancé is reported to be a doctor.<
