On his 20th anniversary since debut, T.O.P is releasing his first solo full-length album "Another Dimension" today (Apr. 3). Featuring double title tracks "완전 미쳤어! (Studio54)" and "DESPERADO (Desperado)," the 11-track album is his first release in 13 years since "Doom Dada (DOOM DADA)" in 2013, drawing much attention from fans.
The album's sound design and mixing on all tracks were completed by Irko, who has worked with global pop icons such as Kanye West and The Weeknd, raising its level of completion. The album cover features participation from American artist Ed Ruscha, and Squid Game Season art director Chae Kyung-sun oversaw the overall design and music video art direction. In addition, the music video was directed by cinematographer Kim Ji-yong, known for the visuals in films such as Decision to Leave, The Fortress and A Bittersweet Life, capturing T.O.P's appeal in a new way.
In addition to the CD version, a platform album version will be released that allows fans to enjoy various content such as tracks and images on the NEMOZ app. The "Another Dimension" version will be released as an NFC mini jewel keyholder in the form of a key ring, and the "Different Dimension" version will be released as an NFC card.
From the opening track "탑욕 (SELF CRUCIFIXION)" to "나만이 (THE GIANT)," "서울시에 사는 기분 (SEOUL CHAOS)" and all the other tracks, T.O.P wrote the lyrics and composed the music, imprinting the album with his distinct color. In particular, the ninth track "꼬깔코온 (FOR FANS)" draws attention for conveying T.O.P's heartfelt message to the fans who waited for a long time.
