Kim Ha-on became the final winner of "Show Me the Money 12."
On the Feb. 2 broadcast, the Mnet final stage of "Show Me the Money 12" featured the top five — Now I Am Young, Mason Home, Millie, Trevi, and Kim Ha-on — competing for the title of final winner.
Before Kim Ha-on's performance was revealed, producers Zico and Crush expressed their faith in him. Zico said, "This is so fun. It's amazing to have made it to the final and be in this fun moment with you all. I have a vague faith in Ha-on. I expect a moment that will realize that to unfold," raising expectations. Crush also gave a short, strong cheer, saying, "Ha-on, let's win."
Kim Ha-on's performance did not disappoint. Dynamic Duo's Gaeko and Vinchen featured on the track, and Kim Ha-on placed first in the on-site judging panel's vote.
The aggregated real-time text vote also placed Kim Ha-on first. Following Kim Ha-on were 2nd Now I Am Young, 3rd Trevi, 4th Millie, and 5th Mason Home.
On winning, Kim Ha-on said, "Since I decided to appear on 'Show Me the Money,' only this moment existed in my script. After many trials and tribulations, I give the honor to Zico and Crush hyung, who brought me here."
He then mentioned his parents who were present, saying, "Mom and dad who came to watch, I love you, and I love my older brother at home. Please watch my future steps."
Also, handing the victory bouquet to his parents on the spot, Kim Ha-on added, "Since the time the 18-year-old brat said he was going to drop out, you must have worried a lot. Don't worry and please continue to trust your son. I love you."
Meanwhile, Kim Ha-on took the final win on "Show Me the Money 12." Eight years after winning "High School Rapper 2" in 2018, he once again reached the top of a hip-hop survival show.
