'GwakTube' Gwak Jun-bin said he even considered cutting back on work for his newborn son.
On the 3rd broadcast of MBN, Channel S 'Jun Hyun-moo plan 3', actor Ha Do-kwon appeared as a 'food friend' and set out on a Cheongju, North Chungcheong Province gourmet tour.
That day Jun Hyun-moo asked Ha Do-kwon, "How old are your kids?" Ha Do-kwon married voice actor Yeo Min-jung in 2004 and has one son and one daughter.
In response, Ha Do-kwon said, "They're 21 and 18" as he shared the news of his grown children, and Jun Hyun-moo asked, "From the perspective of someone who has raised kids, isn't there any advice you can give? Something like 'I think this is right' about raising children."
Then Ha Do-kwon offered advice from his experience: "If a child is around 5 years old, at most until 7, the father should spend as much time as possible. Play with them. Engage physically, bump into them, toss them—doing these things a lot builds trust that lasts a lifetime. Because when children hit puberty and rebel, if the father suddenly acts like he's close, they'll think, 'Why are you like this all of a sudden? Why are you pretending to be close? What have you been doing until now?' That happens. Really. I think it's all like that."
Hearing this, Jun Hyun-moo recalled, "That really sounds right. What I still remember at my age is when we lived in a dwelling and I used to play catch with my father there."
Ha Do-kwon said, "Why would that be? In our time fathers couldn't play with us like that. That one day stays with you for life," adding, "So spending an enormous amount of time with them is the best. And watch them closely. That beautiful time is so short. It's okay to cut back on work a bit. I really recommend that."
Then GwakTube agreed, "I thought that too." But Jun Hyun-moo suspected, "It seems like you're trying to get on this show more often," and Ha Do-kwon turned to GwakTube and delivered a meaningful line, "You can start cutting back from now," drawing laughter.
Jun Hyun-moo said, "77 is materialistic and greedy," and Ha Do-kwon advised, "You should take good care of the wife after the baby is born so you won't be criticized for life," while joking, "(Go to) your family. For now he'll be holding out with Hyun-moo," which provoked laughter.
Meanwhile, GwakTube married a woman five years his junior last October after a premarital pregnancy, and she gave birth to a son this March.<
