The group Ive raised expectations by pre-releasing a track from its new Japanese album.
According to agency Starship Entertainment, Ive pre-released "Fashion," a track from its fourth Japanese album, "LUCID DREAM," at 12 a.m. on the 3rd through various music platforms.
"Fashion" is a song that carries a message about taking a step forward to face a new daily life and a new self. Based on Ive's signature positive energy, the members' diverse vocals—from low tones that flip the mood to solid high notes that add brightness—blend together to raise the song's completeness.
The song was also used as the campaign song for Apple, which rolled out in Japan through TV and digital ads starting on the 30th of last month. In this, Ray took part in the campaign's narration, underscoring Ive's global influence.
Ive's fourth Japanese album, "LUCID DREAM," which includes "Fashion," will be released on May 27. The album will also feature Japanese versions of the pre-released double title track "REBEL HEART," the double title track "ATTITUDE," and the track "Thank U" from the third mini-album "IVE EMPATHY," which enjoyed long-running success at home and abroad and made last year's Melon year-end chart. With the pre-release signaling a singular concept and musical color, anticipation for the new album is rising even higher.
Since its official debut in Japan in 2022, Ive has continued steady success. With its third Japanese album released last year, "Be Alright," the group topped Billboard Japan's Top Album Sales, and "After LIKE" surpassed 200 million cumulative streams on Billboard Japan, proving the global "Ive syndrome."
In addition, the group took the stage at Rock in Japan Festival 2025, regarded as one of Japan's four major rock festivals, captivating local fans with flawless live performances and staging, and has steadily built its presence by appearing on key Japanese programs such as NHK's popular music show "Venue 101" and TBS's hit variety show "Leave It to Snow Man SP."
Ive will hold its second world tour, "SHOW WHAT I AM," at Kyocera Dome Osaka in Japan on the 18th and 19th. Following its first world tour last year that took the group to Tokyo Dome, this time the group has secured a solo show at Kyocera Dome, demonstrating an even broader global reach, drawing attention to Ive's performances through its music and stage.
Meanwhile, Ive's fourth Japanese album, "LUCID DREAM," will be released on May 27.
