It has been eight months since Lee Hyori opened a yoga studio in Yeonhui-dong, and she appealed for smooth operations by posting a notice.
On the 1st, the yoga studio operated by Lee Hyori posted a long notice saying, "We sincerely thank the many people who have visited and those who have consistently devoted themselves to practice."
That day the yoga studio said, "In addition to the initial notice, considering various situations encountered during operation, we offer the following additional guidance for smoother and tidier operations. We ask those who cherish Ananda Yoga to please take note and follow these rules."
The yoga studio emphasized, "Ananda (Lee Hyori)'s classes are 100% by reservation. Visits without a reservation are not allowed. All classes allow entry starting 10 minutes before the start time."
They added, "Photography and video recording during class are prohibited. You may freely take photos before and after class," and said, "Requests to take personal photos of the head instructor or requests for autographs are politely declined. Also, physical contact without consent (holding hands or touching the body, etc.) is prohibited. Please maintain mutual courtesy."
The yoga studio added, "Parcels or gifts sent to the studio address without prior consultation may be discarded, so please do not send them," and added, "To create an environment that allows greater focus on yoga practice, please observe even small rules together. Thank you."
Earlier, Lee Hyori lived on Jeju Island for about 11 years after marrying singer Lee Sang Soon in 2013. The two moved to Pyeongchang-dong, Jongno District, Seoul, in the second half of 2024, and Lee Hyori opened a yoga studio in Yeonhui-dong, Seoul, the following year and is currently conducting classes there.
At the studio's opening, Lee Hyori said she would politely refuse gifts and sponsorships, saying, "I politely decline any more flower pots and gifts. I will accept only your grateful feelings. We aim to keep the practice room as empty as possible so more people can practice."
