Actor Lee Sang-woon is joining SBS's hit series "Shin I-rang law office."
"Shin I-rang law office" is a peculiar yet warm revenge adventure about Shin I-rang, the "possessed lawyer" who thrillingly resolves the grudges (han) of the deceased, and Han Na-hyun, the "cold-blooded elite lawyer" who stakes everything on winning.
In the drama, Lee Sang-woon plays Detective Jo Chi-young of the Criminal Division at Seocho Police Station. Jo Chi-young is a mysterious figure who shows a warm side while adding tension with unpredictable actions at the center of cases. Lee Sang-woon is expected to portray the character's dual aspects tridimensionally with his trademark steady acting.
Over the years, Lee Sang-woon has built a solid acting spectrum through various works. He was recognized for his acting when he won the male acting award in the short-form and web drama category at the 2024 Seoulcon APAN Star Awards for tvN's "Dukhu's Daughter," and he stood out with realistic acting and a keen sense of character in "Bora! Deborah" and "The Fabulous."
Having completed characters in his own color across genres and roles, Lee Sang-woon continues to maintain a steady presence with reliable acting and a wide range of expression. Expectations are rising for his new activities to be showcased through "Shin I-rang law office."
Meanwhile, "Shin I-rang law office," featuring Lee Sang-woon, airs every Friday and Saturday at 9:50 p.m. on SBS.
