Actress Oh Yeon-su shared her feelings after receiving an exemplary taxpayer award.
On the 2nd, Oh Yeon-su posted a video titled "The day I receive an award from the country / dining out with my husband" on her YouTube channel.
The video showed Oh Yeon-su being selected as an exemplary taxpayer and receiving a certificate of commendation. It captured her ordinary day, from getting makeup done to attend the award ceremony to receiving the commendation as an exemplary taxpayer and visiting a restaurant with her husband, Son Ji-chang, to enjoy a meal.
For makeup, Oh Yeon-su visited a shop and met director Lee Kyung-min. When Oh Yeon-su said, "It's been a long time since I showed my makeup on my channel. I really haven't been wearing makeup," director Lee Kyung-min retorted, "Makeup is essential after you turn 50."
After finishing her makeup and attending the award ceremony, Oh Yeon-su was selected as an exemplary taxpayer and received a certificate of commendation. Oh Yeon-su said emotionally, "I couldn't even receive an attendance award when I was in school, but I came to receive an award from the country for the second time."
Oh Yeon-su said, "I once received it when I was pregnant with my second child in 2003. I'm grateful to receive it again after 24 years. I only faithfully paid the taxes that came due, and to receive such a big award — I'll continue to pay my taxes well in the future."
