She also said she gifted her father a foreign car. Chaeyeon recalled, "It wasn't originally something I planned to do; it was time for me to buy a car, so I went to test-drive a foreign car. I went with my mom and dad; I test-drove it first and then my dad drove one lap. When he got out, one remark struck me."
