Former Jewelry member Seo In Young for the first time revealed family stories including her parents' divorce.
On the 1st, a video titled "First public reveal of Seo In Young's home quietly disappearing in Namyangju" was posted on Seo In Young's YouTube channel "Reformed Seo In Young."
The video showed Seo In Young wrapping up 20 years of life in Samseong-dong, Seoul, moving to Namyangju and living as unemployed. Seo In Young said she moved because her father lived nearby and the air was good, and explained that unlike her glamorous past she is living a life pursuing "minimalism" by reducing unnecessary belongings.
Seo In Young said she got rid of most of the high heels and luxury bags she used to call her so-called "babies," which once numbered in the hundreds of pairs, and now lives sweetly with her companion dogs. She also showed some eccentric behavior, saying she relieves stress by using a leg massager and an armpit massager to remove toxins, wearing wigs and dancing.
While introducing the interior of the house, Seo In Young said, "All I need is a man," and added, "People might think I'm crazy about men. It's been a while since I divorced, so didn't the article come out late? But now that I say this, people will think I can't live without a man."
Especially, Seo In Young said her biological mother passed away four years ago. Seo In Young said, "My mother wanted a divorce, so my parents divorced when I was in third grade," and "My father took my sibling and me to live with him," revealing her family background.
Seo In Young continued, "After my stepmother came, it was emotionally difficult. My stepmother tried to treat me well, but I was an adolescent, so I sometimes misunderstood that 'my parents divorced because of my stepmother,'" and added, "But my stepmother and father really get along. Even my divorced biological mother used to say, 'Those two really suit each other.'"
Along with this, Seo In Young said she would reveal her stepmother in a video to be released next week. Seo In Young showed a close atmosphere with her stepmother and said, "Don't we look alike?" showing a mother-daughter-like appearance.
