The JYP Entertainment boy group NEXZ, whose labelmates include 2PM and Stray Kids, spent a passionate time with fans in Hong Kong.
NEXZ (Tomoya, Yuu, Haru, So Geon, Seita, Huey, Yuki) held solo concerts as part of the special concert 'NEXZ SPECIAL CONCERT < ONE BEAT >' at Hong Kong AsiaWorld-Expo on March 28 and 29. Originally only one show was scheduled on the 28th, but it sold out due to enthusiastic fan interest, and an additional show was added on the 29th, proving their strong local popularity.
For this show, NEXZ again delivered a highly polished performance befitting the title 'next-generation performance power,' thrilling the audience. They opened with the hip-hop track Simmer and intensified the mood from the start with exhilarating stages including HARD, One Bite and NALLINA. The diverse, appealing B-side performances, including their debut song Ride the Vibe and Starlight, Because of you, Next To Me and Whatever Whenever, increased audience satisfaction.
A parade of intense performances that kept eyes glued, such as Beat-Boxer, I'm Him and O-RLY?, followed one after another, filling the venue with cheers. The performance of Stray Kids' Walkin On Water (HIP Ver.), which they showed in their own project 'NEXZ Archive,' added overwhelming energy to choreography reinterpreted in NEXZ's colors and captivated fans.
A solid challenge corner, including a cover of popular local singer Wang Sulong's "像晴天像雨天" (Like sunny day like rainy day), ITZY's THAT'S A NO NO, Yena's Catch Catch and KiiiKiii's 404 (New Era), added visual and auditory enjoyment. Near the end of the concert they sang Slo-mo and Run With Me with affectionate feelings in the melodies and concluded the show.
After successfully wrapping up < ONE BEAT > with Seoul on Oct. 25–26 last year, Taipei on Jan. 3 and this Hong Kong performance, NEXZ continues its global run as a "performance-focused group," connecting with audiences on multiple overseas stages this year.
They will embark on their first arena tour and second live tour, NEXZ LIVE TOUR 2026, at Tokyo National Yoyogi Gymnasium Arena 1 on May 30–31 and at Osaka-jo Hall in Osaka on June 12–13. On Sept. 11 local time, they will perform the opening stage at the massive music festival Rock in Rio in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.
