Comedian Yang Se-hyung and his brother Yang Se-chan's middle school–era surprising episode brings laughs on "Homez."
Today (the 2nd) the MBC entertainment show 'Save Me! Homez' (abbreviated 'Homez') heads to Pangyo, known as "Korea's Silicon Valley," for an on-site visit.
This episode draws attention with "game fanatic" comedian Yang Se-chan, actor Ahn Jae-hyeon, and stock expert Choi Go-min-su appearing. The three will thoroughly explore East Pangyo and West Pangyo, which are divided by the Gyeongbu Expressway, and broadly examine a range of housing types from Pangyo Daejang apartments to officetels and detached houses.
They visit "Pangyo technovalley," home to leading Korean game companies clustered together such as NCSOFT, known for the "Lineage" series, and Nexon, which introduced "Crazy Arcade" and "MapleStory," and conduct on-site interviews with actual game company employees. They hear candid stories from industry realities to behind-the-scenes anecdotes, and the self-proclaimed "game fanatic" Yang Se-chan even shares his own difficulties, drawing sympathy.
Also revealed is a school-era gaming episode of the "Yangse brothers" that made the studio buzz. The brothers Yang Se-hyung and Yang Se-chan previously amused viewers with childhood photos and mischievous past stories, calling it "parenting difficulty No. 1." Their unexpected twist is expected to surprise everyone.
Next, the three head to a mixed-use apartment near Pangyo technovalley, called the "Pangyo residents' dream house," for an on-site inspection. Before a full interior check, Choi Go-min-su begins his explanation of mixed-use complexes starting with "Trump Tower." Yang Se-chan, astonished, asks, "How do you know so much about apartments?" and Choi Go-min-su answers, "I study in advance wherever I go," prompting more admiration. According to reports, Yang Se-chan and Ahn Jae-hyeon could not hide their dizziness from the nonstop information bombardment that followed.
The house revealed that day catches the eye with its tasteful interior and unique layout. Seeing the sleek kitchen interior, Ahn Jae-hyeon is reminded of NRG's "Breakfast at Tiffany's" and can't leave the window, adding to the laughter. When the "ㅁ"-shaped circulation layout is revealed and a second living room is shown, they cannot hide their admiration for the unusual design. The space, completed with tasteful designer furniture, is sure to appeal to viewers' tastes. In particular, Ahn Jae-hyeon repeatedly marveled, "the life I wanted," raising expectations about what kind of house it is. It airs tonight at 10 p.m. Thursday.
