Girls' Generation member and solo artist Tiffany Young has signed an exclusive contract with the Korean branch of Pacific Music Group (PMG).
PMG Korea said on the 2nd that it signed Tiffany Young as its first artist. PMG Korea said, "Tiffany Young is currently active worldwide as a solo artist and will continue to be more active on the global stage," adding, "we will spare no effort to fully support her overall artistic activities."
Tiffany Young, who joined PMG Korea as its first artist, said, "PMG deeply understands my journey from Girls' Generation activities to my music as a solo artist and to acting and musical stages. They empathize not only with simple achievements and moments but also with the intent and meaning contained within them, and they respect and support the various textures of my music and artistic world," adding, "As I enter the next phase of my career, I am more focused than ever on intent and detail and on creating genuine connections with people through the work I make."
She added, "I am very happy and honored to start a new chapter with PMG as I prepare for my upcoming solo 10th anniversary album and activities. Above all, I look forward to sharing this special moment with the fans who have walked this journey with me so far, because my music has always been for the fans," adding, "I am deeply grateful for this journey we are creating together, and I look forward to sharing the next chapter with you."
Tiffany Young, who debuted with Girls' Generation in 2007 and gained global popularity, has since pursued a varied career as a solo artist, crossing stages and genres through projects such as the musical Chicago. Based on her distinctive emotional R&B vocals, she has built her own musical world, and recently she has continued a solid career serving as a judge on SBS's Beiled Cup.
Announcing a new start as PMG Korea's first artist, Tiffany Young plans to release new music and continue activities with a further expanded musical spectrum.
Tiffany legally became the spouse of actor Byun Yo-Han after filing a marriage report in February.
