Children who should be loved in any circumstance, the i-dle will dispatch the 'Bread Music Corps' again this year.
The 'Bread Music Corps,' now in its third year, will head to "Jacob's House" in Pyeongtaek, Gyeonggi Province at 10:30 a.m. on April 25. "Jacob's House" is a child welfare facility that opened on May 20, 1985, within Dongbang Pyeongtaek Welfare Town and for more than 40 years has protected infants and toddlers (under age 6) who cannot receive parental care for various reasons and helps them grow healthily in a stable environment.
Many artists and volunteers joined forces to spend precious time with the children. Violist Kim Nam-jung and pianist Hwang Ji-hee, jazz vocalist Go Jeong-gon, and Manna Youth Choir will hold a small concert and give the gift of beautiful music. Run Coffee will join for waffles and drinks for the children, and Ouwr Topper, full of colorful cute balloons, will also lend support.
Violist Kim Nam-jung, who has been with the 'Bread Music Corps' since its first performance, said the children's excited eyes at the concert still remain vividly in his heart and said he wants to create a lively, happy concert like a spring picnic for the children at "Jacob's House" this time as well.
Manna Youth Choir music director Shin Myung-cheol said it was a time that made him feel again how great a happiness it is to be able to share and said he hopes that though it is a small voice, the sincerity contained within it will be a comfort to someone. He said he wants to share hearts through song with the youth choir members and spend a warm time that brings joy to one another, and he expects it to remain a happy memory for everyone.
Director General Lee Joo-hee, who leads the 'Bread Music Corps,' said she was surprised and grateful that it has already reached its third year and said it seems possible because many people serve with the same heart and purpose. Above all, she believes God's zeal has borne beautiful fruit. She expressed confidence that the place where the 'Bread Music Corps' will be held this time is also a place where God's gaze rests, and she prayed that the precious and cherished hearts would be conveyed intact to the children.
This concert hosted by the 'Bread Music Corps' is a collaboration between the nonprofit corporation Human and Human International, the nonprofit organization Reporters Who Save Lives, and Raemian Bakery. Sogeureuha Studio, Jade Rattan Studio, Geumdanje, OUWR, Haneulbit and others also gathered for this good cause.
