The entertainment industry is experiencing a "May wedding rush." From influencer Choi Jun-hee to actor Lee Tae-ri and chef Park Eun-young, stars from different fields announced new beginnings in their lives.
Lee Tae-ri to marry a non-celebrity in May…"will be held quietly"
On the 1st, actor Lee Tae-ri announced the wedding news through his agency.
The agency said, "Lee Tae-ri will tie the knot with a precious partner this May," and "The prospective spouse is a non-celebrity, and they decided to marry based on deep trust and affection."
They added, "The wedding ceremony will be held quietly and meaningfully with only family members from both sides and close acquaintances in attendance," and said specific dates and the venue will be kept private.
Lee Tae-ri, who debuted as a child actor in 1998, has continued to work steadily after becoming an adult, solidifying his position as an actor.
"'Chinese cuisine goddess' Park Eun-young to wed at the Shilla Hotel…identity of groom draws interest"
Chef Park Eun-young also joined the ranks of May brides.
According to her agency, Park Eun-young will hold her wedding at the Shilla Hotel in Jangchung-dong, Seoul, this May. However, regarding the prospective groom, they said, "It is personal information, so it is difficult to confirm," and declined to elaborate.
In particular, interest in the prospective groom has grown since the wedding news was revealed. Because she once named actor Lee Yi-kyung as her ideal type on a past broadcast, speculation such as "Isn't he someone who resembles Lee Yi-kyung?" has followed.
Park Eun-young drew attention as the "Chinese cuisine goddess" after appearing on the Netflix "Culinary Class Wars," and through this marriage she hinted at a new second chapter in her life.
"'the late Choi Jin-sil's daughter' Choi Jun-hee announces, "I am getting married" herself"
In February, Choi Jun-hee announced her marriage directly via social media, drawing attention.
She said, "This was news I wanted to share in the most beautiful way at my own pace, so I was upset that it was revealed in an article first," but added, "Still, I want to say it from my own mouth. I am getting married."
She added, "Family has always been a difficult word, but now I want to create my own new family and live a stronger and warmer life."
Choi Jun-hee plans to hold a wedding at a hotel in Gangnam, Seoul, on May 16 with a non-celebrity who is 11 years her senior, whom she has dated for five years.<
