On "Salon Drip 2," TOMORROW X TOGETHER's Yeonjun and Soobin confessed a story in which they cried and reconciled after a misunderstanding about a conflict.
On the 31st, a video titled '8-year idol lyric investigation released | EP. 133 TXT Soobin Yeonjun |' was posted on the Salon Drip 2 channel.
That day Jang Do-youn introduced the TOMORROW X TOGETHER members with distinct characters, and the team's eldest Yeonjun and leader Soobin showcased their talk. Soobin said, "Actually, if I go on Salon Drip I want to openly talk about our relationship," which made Jang Do-youn burst out laughing, asking, "What relationship?" Soobin mentioned, "Fans may know bit by bit, but there was an awkward period," referring to the internal discord with Yeonjun.
When Yeonjun said, "The story is long," Soobin, flustered, asked, "Where are you going to start?" Yeonjun said, "After finishing my first solo album, I was stressed by what people around me said," explaining that his inner self began to be shaken by others' standards. Yeonjun said, "I experienced a strong burnout for three months," and added, "I wanted to get rid of all these feelings because I realized I had many wrong thoughts," saying he then suggested to Soobin that they meet for drinks first. Coincidentally, that was the day they shared a photo they took together on social media.
Soobin recalled, "I was always resentful that I was the one who approached first, but after 10 years of knowing each other, Yeonjun hyung was the one who asked to talk first," and said, "As soon as I got the message I worried for two days, thinking, 'Did I do something wrong?' But contrary to my worries, I was moved because it was a place where he openly talked about himself." Soobin said, "There were times when even greeting him to see if he had come was difficult; during shoots, if he put his hand on my shoulder it felt like I would go crazy," and added, "There were times when it wasn't the moment to put a hand up but I did as told; fans must have felt the uncomfortable atmosphere," reflecting. Yeonjun said, "During trainee days I thought I had to do well so I wanted to appear perfect," and added, "Because he's an older member I pretended to be okay, hid all my feelings and avoided the members; this incident relieved a burden on my heart."
Soobin said, "Talking for the first time, I thought this kind of thing would repeat, but after the two of us drank, it felt like we could handle anything," and added, "I came to fully understand Yeonjun hyung himself; now I want to openly share my feelings."
