"Yumi's Cells season 3" new poster has been released.
The Tving original "Yumi's Cells season 3," which will be released on the 13th (directed by Lee Sang-yeop; written by Song Jae-jung and Kim Gyeong-ran; provided by Tving; produced by Studio Dragon, Merry Cow and Studio N), released character posters of Yumi (played by Kim Go-eun) and Sun-rok (played by Kim Jaewon) on the 1st, stirring anticipation.
Returning after four years, "Yumi's Cells season 3" depicts a cell-stimulating, relatable romance in which Yumi, now a star writer, again laughs, cries and falls in love because of an unexpected person who arrives like a bolt from the blue in her unstimulating daily life. Centered on Kim Go-eun, who played "Yumi herself," the addition of rising young actor Kim Jaewon and the reunion of trusted director Lee Sang-yeop with writers Song Jae-jung and Kim Gyeong-ran raise expectations.
Meanwhile, the released character posters draw attention with the sweet chemistry between Yumi, who became a star writer but still finds love difficult, and Sun-rok, a principled person who, as a twist, is actually a "homebody." Yumi, who had been living a dry, emotionless daily life, faces change with Sun-rok's appearance. The writer cell, now the prime cell, shows a nonchalant expression; the returning love cell; and the "I hate it, I hate it" cell making an X — fans are eager to see what kind of roles Yumi's still lovable cells will play.
Also interesting is the change in Sun-rok, a principled person who delivers harsh truths despite his sweet face. Sun-rok, a "homebody" who is low-power mode outside the house, gets energized outside after meeting Yumi. As Sun-rok falls in love and regains vitality, the diverse facets of the Sun-rok cell village are also anticipated. In particular, the appearance of an enormous, blushing, unidentified cell further raises expectations for Yumi and Sun-rok's romance.
The production team said, "Yumi, who had been living a peaceful daily life, feels an unexpected flutter after Sun-rok's appearance," and predicted, "The changing relationship between Yumi, who was once 'disgusted,' and Sun-rok will give viewers excitement and pleasant laughter."
Meanwhile, the Tving original "Yumi's Cells season 3" will be exclusively pre-released on Tving in two episodes every Monday at 6 p.m. starting on the 13th, and will air one episode each on tvN every Monday and Tuesday at 8:50 p.m.
