Rookie group Unchild (UNCHILD) will officially debut in the music industry on Apr. 21.
Unchild, ahead of their debut, fired the starting signal by releasing three versions of a pre-teaser on their official social media on the 1st. The released teasers were composed by adding the prefix "UN-" to the words "APPLE (apple)", "FROG (frog)" and "COMFORTABLE (comfortable)", reversing their original meanings and leaving a strong impression.
In particular, this teaser, which playfully varied familiar words into unfamiliar forms, combined sensuous visuals and witty messages to intuitively reveal Unchild's unique team color. The idea of breaking molds and the fresh concept are stimulating global fans' curiosity and raising expectations for their debut.
Unchild is a rookie group that High Up Entertainment is presenting for the first time in about six years since STAYC, and they have drawn high interest even before their debut. It attracted attention as it was revealed that the group includes Na Ha-eun, who was noted as a "dance prodigy" through programs such as "Star King" and the 2018 Melon Music Awards.
Composed of members with musical capabilities including Na Ha-eun, Unchild is expected to present a new trend in the fifth-generation girl group market through concepts and performances that break existing molds.
Unchild is currently stepping up final preparations for their debut album and plans to sustain anticipation by sequentially releasing various teaser contents.
