Hollywood star actor James McAvoy (46) has made a late surprising confession that he secretly had a second son four years ago, drawing attention.
On the 31st (local time), according to a report by the Daily Mail, James McAvoy, who is also called one of Britain's leading handsome actors, revealed for the first time in a recent interview with the Guardian that he and his wife Lisa Liberati had a son four years ago. News that the two, who were married in 2022, already had a four-year-old child has brought an outpouring of congratulations from fans around the world.
In this interview McAvoy frankly shared his feelings about becoming a father again in his 40s. Comparing raising his first son Brendan (15), whom he had with his ex-wife Anne Marie Duff, to now, he said, 42-year-old parents are certainly in some ways easier because there is less to worry about.
He added that one becomes a little more philosophical, but said it is also harder because you are older and get tired more quickly, striking a realistic chord with 'dad' parents. He also openly confessed the pressures he feels as a late-in-life father and a debut director, saying he wakes at 2:30 a.m. worrying while filming his recently debuted directorial project.
James McAvoy and his wife Lisa Liberati's movie-like love story is also receiving renewed attention. The two first met on the set of the film "Split." At the time McAvoy was the lead actor, and Lisa was a production assistant to director M. Night Shyamalan.
The two officially tied the knot in 2022, and they are currently maintaining a happy home life while traveling between London and Philadelphia, where Lisa's parents live.
Not only in his private life but also in his career, James McAvoy has entered a new turning point. He recently completed his directorial debut with the film "California Schemin'". The film is a musical biopic about two Scottish men who posed as a rapper duo from California and deceived the music industry.
