Actor Uhm Ji-won was able to stand on her own two feet after rehabilitation following fracture surgery.
On the 1st, a post on Uhm Ji-won and her agency's official account released a message and a video saying, "An unexpected accident on Feb. 14, 2026. The diagnosis that I would not be able to walk for three months was frightening and terrifying, but I did not lose hope and worked a little every day."
The video showed Uhm Ji-won being transferred to a hospital after suffering a fracture while traveling in Japan, undergoing surgery and rehabilitating. Uhm Ji-won waved her hand to greet as she boarded the ambulance, as if to reassure acquaintances.
