KCM of The Return of SUPERMAN confesses the heart-stopping moment when his youngest son was born.
Today (1) on the KBS 2TV variety show The Return of SUPERMAN (abbreviated as 'The Return of SUPERMAN'), MC Kim Jongmin and Lalal appear alongside KCM and his wife, who recently gave birth to their third child, the
KCM reveals the tense moment when his youngest son Haon's life and death were at stake. The placenta had detached 30% at 34 weeks of pregnancy, six weeks earlier than the due date, requiring emergency surgery. KCM said, "My wife's bleeding wouldn't stop in the early morning, and Haon's fetal movements were gradually decreasing. It was the most frightening moment of my life," and he shed tears as if it happened yesterday while talking about the precarious situation in which he could have lost his precious wife and child.
KCM's wife, Bang Yewon, said, "I thought, 'What will happen to the children if something happens to me?'" expressing concern that her children might be left without a mother if anything happened to her, which brought a sense of heaviness. In particular, Bang Yewon cried, "I left without even saying goodbye to my daughters."
The miraculous youngest son Haon, who arrived six weeks earlier than the due date, celebrated his 62nd day of life, and the KCM couple took Haon to his first infant checkup. Watching Haon as his height, weight and head circumference were measured, KCM, unable to take his eyes off him, told the doctor, "Because Haon was born prematurely, I'm a little worried," revealing his tense feelings. The doctor then reportedly disclosed test results that immediately eased the KCM couple's anxiety.
