KM Chart selects the leading figures who drove K-MUSIC in the first quarter of this year.
The global standard K-pop chart "KM Chart (KM)" has released the nominee list for "2026 KM Chart Season Best Spring (2026 KM CHART SEASON BEST SPRING)" (hereinafter "2026 Season Best Spring") and is conducting voting for a total of seven institutional sector categories through the 14th.
"2026 Season Best Spring" awards artists and songs that gained the most popularity in the first quarter of 2026 (Jan.-Mar.). It presents awards across seven fields including songs, artists and music videos. The nominee list includes popular artists such as BTS, Blackpink, ATEEZ, LE SSERAFIM, Lim Young-woong and Le Chanwon, generating expectations of a heated voting atmosphere.
First, the BEST K-MUSIC (song) institutional sector nominees include Hwasa's "Good Goodbye" (굿 굿바이), ILLIT's "NOT CUTE ANYMORE" (낫 큐트 애니모어), Le Chanwon's "오늘은 왠지", Blackpink's "뛰어 (JUMP)"·"GO" (고), WOODZ's "Drowning (드라우닝)", and Lim Young-woong's "순간을 영원처럼", for a total of 18 nominated tracks.
In the BEST K-MUSIC ARTIST institutional sector, nominees include Jin, Jungkook, V, Jimin (BTS), Stray Kids, LE SSERAFIM, NMIXX, BOYNEXTDOOR, ENHYPEN, PLAVE, ATEEZ, TOMORROW X TOGETHER, EXO, IVE and a total of 20 artists (teams).
In BEST HOT CHOICE (popularity) male institutional sector, nominees include V, Jin, Jimin (BTS), Le Chanwon, Kang Daniel, MONSTA X, Hwang Min-hyun, n.SSign and Jang Min Ho among a total of 14 artists (teams), while the female institutional sector features Dreamcatcher, Jennie, Jisoo (Blackpink), Kep1er, Oh My Girl, Taeyeon (Girls' Generation), VV, TWICE and Apink among a total of 18 artists (teams).
In BEST ROOKIE institutional sector, the male institutional sector nominees include CORTIS, ALPHA DRIVE ONE, AHOF, NEXZ, idntt, LNGSHOT, AxMxP and CLOSE YOUR EYES, totaling eight artists (teams), while the female institutional sector nominees include Hearts2Hearts, BABYMONSTER, ALLDAY PROJECT, ILLIT, UNIS, KiiiKiii, HADES and izna, totaling eight artists (teams), all vying for the top rookie title.
In BEST MUSICVIDEO (popular music video), nominees include BTS's "SWIM" (스윔), HADES's "Second Earth", ZEROBASEONE's "LOVEPOCALYPSE" (러브포칼립스), LNGSHOT's "Moonwalkin'" (문워킨'), ENHYPEN's "Knife" (나이프), CNBLUE's "Killer Joy" (킬러 조이) and a total of 15 tracks competing.
The preference poll for "2026 Season Best Spring," running through the 14th, can be participated in via the applications MyOnePick and Idol Champ. The poll results will be tallied and reflected with a 50% weight per app. The final results will be announced by combining the poll scores with KM Chart data scores and evaluations from a panel of professional judges.
KM Chart also announced the March monthly chart results on its official website last month. According to that, K-MUSIC No. 1 was IVE's "BANG BANG" (뱅뱅), and K-MUSIC ARTIST No. 1 was Jin (BTS). In HOT CHOICE, Lim Young-woong and Dreamcatcher topped the male and female institutional sectors respectively, and in ROOKIE, ALPHA DRIVE ONE and Hearts2Hearts ranked No. 1 in the male and female institutional sectors respectively.<
