DAY6 vocalist Wonpil appeared on "Killing Voice."
Dingo Music released Wonpil's "Killing Voice" video on its official YouTube channel at 6 p.m. on the 31st of last month.
In the released video, Wonpil caught the eye from his entrance with unique black styling. Seated at the keyboard, he instantly immersed himself in the emotion and began singing with the performance, immediately capturing attention.
Wonpil showcased a wide range of songs, starting with last year's released "Our Season," including many of DAY6's hits such as "It Might Be That," "Like a Passing Wind," "She Smiled," "Healer," as well as beloved solo songs like "Becoming the writer in a novel," "Loner on a Deserted Island," "Wish Me Luck," and "One day spring will come," displaying his emotionally rich tone and vocal ability.
In particular, Wonpil presented various tracks from his first solo mini album "Unpiltered," released on the 30th, further exciting global fans.
He introduced the title track saying, "It's a song made with the feelings that arise in moments when the heart is so hurt and struggling that you want to pour it out somewhere and ask anyone for help," and passionately performed the title track "Ward of love." He also performed album tracks such as "Piano," "Not a million flowers but," and "I've become an adult," proving his reliability as a vocalist you can trust to listen to.
"Unpiltered" is Wonpil's solo album released about four years after his 2022 solo debut album "Pilmography." The title track "Ward of love," which Wonpil participated in writing and composing, captures the desperate cry within the pain of undying love, and K-pop hitmaker Lee Woo-min (collapsedone) added his touch to increase its completeness.
Wonpil delivered a live performance that captivated both the eyes and ears, leaving a lingering impression deep in viewers' hearts and firmly imprinting the charm of a vocalist who has grown to the next level. Finally, he closed "Killing Voice" with the greeting, "Please give a lot of love to the new album 'Unpiltered,' and I hope that everyone watching the video does not feel any pain at all."
