"Shimwoo-myeon Yeonriri": Lee Jinwoo cannot take his eyes off Choi Gyuri.
On the 2nd episode of the KBS 2TV miniseries "Shimwoo-myeon Yeonriri," a first three-way face-off unfolds between Seong Ji-cheon (played by Lee Jinwoo), Im Bo-mi (played by Choi Gyuri) and Park Sun-gyeong (played by Choi Woo-jin), blending excitement and tension.
Earlier, Seong Ji-cheon, the eldest son of Seong Tae-hoon (played by Park Sung-woong) and Jo Mi-ryeo (played by Lee Soo-kyung), faced change when he followed his demoted father down to the rural village of Yeonriri. Spending time alone in the village, he had a striking first meeting with Im Bo-mi, the only daughter of village chief Im Ju-hyung (played by Lee Seo-Hwan) and Nam Hye-seon (played by Nam Kwon-ah). After showing enthusiasm for farm life, Seong Ji-cheon gradually found himself drawn to Im Bo-mi, heralding a new spring breeze.
Contrasting with the parents' generation conflict, their growing closeness while working the fields brings warmth, and today (the 1st) a scene revealing Seong Ji-cheon completely taken with Im Bo-mi is released, drawing attention.
Wearing a somewhat comical pink wide-brimmed hat, Seong Ji-cheon goes to the school to pick up his two younger brothers Seong Ji-sang (played by Seo Yoon-hyuk) and Seong Ji-gu (played by Yang Woo-hyuk) and meets Im Bo-mi. Unlike the flustered Seong Ji-cheon at the unexpected reunion, Im Bo-mi greets him with a bright smile that shakes his heart. Whether aware of the enmity between Seong Tae-hoon and Im Ju-hyung or not, the honest feelings of these two youths come across intriguingly.
At that moment, Park Sun-gyeong, who had been watching their conversation, offers his hand to Seong Ji-cheon first. Noticing the presence of the new face Seong Ji-cheon, Park Sun-gyeong subtly checks him and reveals jealousy. Attention turns to whether a red light has gone on in Park Sun-gyeong's love line, who is secretly in love with Im Bo-mi, and to the rivalry between the two men.
Meanwhile, Seong Ji-cheon, startled by an unexpected remark from his youngest brother Seong Ji-gu, hurriedly leaves his meeting with Im Bo-mi. Why he became restless in front of his siblings as the atmosphere strangely changed, and the story of how they slowly seep into Yeonriri will unfold in episode 2, raising expectations.
