Singer Choi Su-ho will serve as a master on 'King of Singers - female singers (Japan edition)'.
Choi Su-ho appears as a master (judge) on 'King of Singers - female singers (Japan edition)', which is airing on Japan's BS Fuji and Fuji TV.
'King of Singers', produced directly by Crea Studio, presents 'King of Singers - female singers', which follows last year's male edition and is a survival entertainment show that selects the current Japanese national representatives who will compete in MBN's 2026 Korea-Japan king of singers competition, which will air on April 14.
Born in Tokyo, Japan, Choi Su-ho began studying pansori in middle school and is majoring in pansori at Korea National University of Arts. Based on Korea's traditional music, he performs a wide range of genres from trot to ballads and has been recognized for his distinctive musicality.
In the first episode of 'King of Singers - female singers' broadcast on the 29th, the producers introduced Choi Su-ho as a "singer born in Japan who spans a variety of genres from Korean traditional music to trot and pop," raising expectations.
Choi Su-ho finished in sixth place in the final TOP 7 of 'King of Singers 2', which ended last February. Returning from contestant to master through 'King of Singers - female singers', he not only delivers deeply informed critiques in fluent Japanese but also adds vitality to the show with abundant reactions and bright energy.<
