Singer Jeon Yu-jin lends her voice to Recipe For Love.
The fifth OST of the KBS 2TV weekend drama Recipe For Love, titled "My love, my destiny," featuring Jeon Yu-jin's vocals, will be released at 6 p.m. on April 5.
"My love, my destiny" is a love theme that contains a warm and pure confession. Jeon Yu-jin's delicate vocals are added over the soft flow of acoustic guitar to further enrich the protagonists' narratives in the drama, and it is expected to gently portray the tender feelings toward a loved one.
In particular, Choi Min-ji, the composer of Park Ji-hyun's "Turn on your blinker and come," from Mr. Trot 2, composed the song, completing a piece with new charm. Through this song, which features gently ringing guitar and candid lyrics, Jeon Yu-jin is expected to present a love song listeners will want to hear while thinking of someone they love.
In addition, Song Dong-woon, who has been recognized as one of the country's top OST producers, oversaw production of the OST to raise its completeness. Song Dong-woon has produced hits including the drama soundtrack songs from Hotel Del Luna, Descendants of the Sun, It's Okay, That's Love, Moon Lovers: Scarlet Heart Ryeo, Our Blues, and Goblin OSTs such as First Snow Will Go to You, Stay With Me, Beautiful, and I Miss You.
Jeon Yu-jin debuted in 2020 with the digital single "Would you like to love?" and gained recognition by winning MBN's King of Singers in 2024. Since then, she has continued active activities in music, including "Childlike sleep" and "Spend just one day in my dream," and has participated in OST vocals such as for the drama For Eagle Brothers. On the 26th, she also released the new song "Gayo Gayo" on various music streaming sites, strengthening her position as a trot queen.
Recipe For Love is a family drama about two families who had been entangled by a bad relationship for 30 years, who resolve misunderstandings, heal each other's wounds and are ultimately reborn as one family. It airs every Saturday and Sunday at 8 p.m. on KBS 2TV.
