The group Stray Kids has produced their eighth music video to reach 200 million views with "Chk Chk Boom."
The music video for "Chk Chk Boom," the title track from Stray Kids' mini album 8eight, released July 19, 2024, surpassed 200 million YouTube views on the morning of the 31st. With this, Stray Kids has placed a total of eight music videos in the 200 million view club: "神메뉴" (신메뉴), "Back Door" (백 도어), "Soriggun", "MANIAC" (매니악), "Teuk", "Rak (樂)", "CASE 143" and "Chk Chk Boom."
"Chk Chk Boom," written and composed by the group's producing team 3RACHA — Bangchan, Changbin and Han — is a song that conveys the confidence of clearly aiming at desired goals. It features an addictive loop, a distinctive topline and lyrics over a Latin-style hip-hop rhythm interpreted in Stray Kids' own way. The music video, notable for its dazzling visuals and powerful performance, adds to the viewing pleasure with appearances by Hollywood actors Ryan Reynolds and Hugh Jackman.
Stray Kids celebrated their eighth anniversary on the 25th by releasing a new song for their fandom STAY called "Byeol, Bit (STAY)." Members Han and Seungmin directly participated in writing and composing, likening the hope for a tomorrow possible because they are together to the "universe" and the "stars." Lyrics such as "If we look toward the same place, we'll shine like starlight somewhere" and "Will you stay by my side? Then I'll become the universe that surrounds you" reveal the sincere feelings of Bangchan, Lee Know, Changbin, Hyunjin, Han, Felix, Seungmin and I.N toward STAY, delivering a poignant emotion.
On the 28th and 29th, they opened the sixth official fan meeting, Stray Kids 6TH FANMEETING 'STAY in Our Little House,' at Incheon Inspire Arena. The fan meeting will be held a total of four times through April 4 and 5.
