Group CORTIS will present a special stage on the day their title track and new release come out.
CORTIS (Martin, James, Juhun, Sunghyun, Geonho) announced at 10 a.m. today (31) through the global superfans platform Weverse that they will hold the CORTIS The 2nd EP Release Party (hereafter release party). It is an event where they will present the new mini album's songs live for the first time.
The event will be held twice. First, on April 20 at 8 p.m. at YES24 Live Hall in Gwangjin District, Seoul, they will hold the REDRED release party, where the title track REDRED will be revealed. Then on May 4 at 8 p.m. at S-Factory D in Seongdong District, Seoul, they will hold the GREENGREEN release party when the new release GREENGREEN is officially released. The second release party will also be streamed online for global fans who cannot attend in person. The streaming platform will be announced later.
Attention is focused on CORTIS's live performance that will be revealed at the release party. When they debuted last year, CORTIS also held a release party and showed strong stage presence. Even as newly debuted rookies, they confidently performed all five songs included on the record and even delivered an unplanned encore, bringing out the thrill of the concert. They also screened self-produced music video footage and, as a "young creator crew" that co-creates music, choreography and video, presented abundant content.
It is also meaningful that CORTIS's first offline event that deeply connects with their fandom COER will coincide with their comeback. It signals an intention to communicate with fans through music and performance and to build memories. The members are expected to share honest stories and behind-the-scenes anecdotes about making the new release at this event.
The mini album GREENGREEN is an album in which the five members remove and avoid what they distance themselves from and instead fill it with what they truly pursue and want. The album contains six tracks that capture their more mature, clarified musical tastes and directions. After revealing the title track REDRED on April 20, CORTIS will engage in active promotions including appearances on music shows.
