Kep1er attempts an even more dramatic transformation with the new song 'KILLA'.
Kep1er released their eighth mini album 'CRACK CODE' at 6 p.m. on the 31st on various music platforms. At the same time, they opened the title track 'KILLA (Face the other me)' as a song and music video.
After showing innovation by removing the name 'Kep1er' and changing all concepts through the seventh mini album 'BUBBLE GUM' in August last year, Kep1er shows members who have grown one step further through this album and continues their bold challenge.
The title track 'KILLA' is an electronic hip-hop song blending intense lead synths and trap-based drum sounds, capturing a color that is even more intense than the image Kep1er has shown until now.
Starting with a unique sound texture that grabs the ear from the intro, the chorus follows with an addictive killing part that keeps the song's tension going. Meanwhile, the song's listening appeal is enhanced by a sophisticated beat development that wraps the track.
"You shine on me star light I can't stop Me and you/ Oh baby Let's kep1 diving (show time)/ The thrilling flow the moment you let your guard down Go/ Aim Shot, take it slow You know I'm a killa"
The lyrics talk about the existence of another self hidden in everyone's heart, and about the moment of facing the hidden nature as one awakens internally, breaks the limits that had oppressed them, and awakens as a true killer.
Kep1er plans to shed the long-oppressed self, break limits, and take precise aim at the anxious inner self through 'KILLA'.
Meanwhile, Kep1er's new song 'KILLA' is available for listening on various music platforms today (the 31st) at 6 p.m.
