You Quiz on the Block will remove all appearances by film translator Hwang Seok-hee.
On the 31st, tvN's You Quiz on the Block told OSEN regarding making Hwang Seok-hee's appearances private, "VOD will be corrected and YouTube clips are being made private sequentially," it said in an official statement.
Earlier the day before, Hwang Seok-hee was accused of committing sexual crimes three times in 2005 and 2014. According to a Dispatch report, in 2005 Hwang Seok-hee molested two women near Kangwon National University in Chuncheon, assaulted two people who tried to stop him, and in 2014 he committed attempted rape and illegal filming of a student at a cultural center where he was an instructor and was given a suspended sentence.
In response, Hwang Seok-hee said, "I am currently reviewing the matter with my lawyer. If the report contains parts that are not factual, unconfirmed content, or expressions that go beyond legal judgment, I will consider corrections and responses," and afterward he deleted all SNS posts except for his statement and has been silent.
In connection with this, the tvN You Quiz on the Block on which he appeared was also affected, and ultimately the production team corrected his appearances and made all YouTube videos private.
