Global band hrtz.wav (Haatz Wave) completed preparations for their debut and raised expectations by releasing concept photos.
Kakao Entertainment (co-CEOs Go Jeong-hee, Jang Yoon-jung) released the third concept photo for the first mini album 'The First Wave (더 퍼스트 웨이브)' at 12 a.m. on the 31st via hrtz.wav (Haatz Wave)'s official social media channels.
In the released images, hrtz.wav (Haatz Wave) projected a street mood centered on a refreshing blue color. The five members — Yoon Young-jun (keyboard), Rian (vocals), Dane (bass), K-Ten (guitar), Hagiiwa (drums) — showcased their individual personalities while completing an organic chemistry, clearly asserting their identity as a "next-generation youth band."
In particular, the eyes and expressions that fully conveyed youthful boldness and confidence hinted at hrtz.wav (Haatz Wave)'s iconic musical direction. From a unified group shot leaning against a wall to individual shots capturing freewheeling energy, they proved a wide range of concept versatility and imprinted the presence of a "youth iconic band" on the verge of debut.
Earlier, hrtz.wav (Haatz Wave) began with a first concept photo that demonstrated their identity as an intensely visual band by handling vivid primary colors, followed by a second that sensibly unfolded the narrative as a "youth band," and this third concept, which concentrated energy in the team color blue, creating a single, high-quality flow. Through three concept photos in total, they visually expressed a distinctive visual and narrative as well as the team's musical direction, further raising anticipation for their debut. As a result, expectations are growing for the music and live performances the five members — each with solid capabilities representing their positions — will present in the future.
The First Wave is the debut album that captures the dynamic youthful sensibility of hrtz.wav (Haatz Wave), who were formed through Mnet's survival show 'Still Heart Club.' The album includes six tracks: the title track NINETEEN (나인틴), for which all members participated in writing the lyrics; Rian and Dane's self-composed song "Eoriberry" (어리버리); "Dream (드림)"; Highlight (하이라이트); I AM SO FINE (아이 엠 소 파인); and our own story (Close To Me) (우리만의 이야기 (Close To Me)).
hrtz.wav (Haatz Wave)'s mini album The First Wave, which will portray the waves of youth, will be officially released online and offline at 6 p.m. on April 8. Later that day at 8 p.m., a debut commemorative fan showcase will be held at the Performance Hall of the Oil Tank Culture Park in Mapo District, Seoul.
