Singer Sung Si Kyung explained why he doesn't run many YouTube ads.
Sung Si Kyung, on the 30th, hosted "Sung Si Kyung's I'll Eat" on his YouTube channel and ate a hamburger at a hamburger franchise restaurant.
While eating the hamburger, Sung Si Kyung said, "Ah, so my cosmetics will open tomorrow — the cosmetics I do. An older man being a cosmetics model makes me feel honored, so I worked hard on dieting, but what I really liked I can't reveal yet, but people around me were like, "What is it?", "You shouldn't talk about it yet," "What is it?" and when I told them they said, "Oh? I use it too," which was so common. That was really nice," he said.
He added, "Rather than feeling like I'm promoting something nobody knows about, I feel more at ease when something that already has good reviews finds me. But this hamburger seemed like that too," and he confessed, "When people around you ask like that because when work comes in they ask before you eat it, right? When many people say, 'That's really good,' I kind of feel reassured."
He then said, "First of all, I only do ads for things I like, so I hope people trust that about my YouTube."
Sung Si Kyung said, "If I hadn't done it that way, I might not have received this much love, but that's really difficult. That balance means you should do a lot of advertising. Honestly, in a capitalist country where people work this hard, I hope ads come in a lot," and he laughed, saying, "Ads are coming in a lot. It's only because I turn them down."
