Actor Moon Hee-kyung revealed her own way of staying young.
On the 31st broadcast of KBS1's Morning Yard, new daily drama Joyful Our Good Day actors Yoon Da-hoon and Moon Hee-kyung and, appearing as sons in the drama, Jung Yoon and Yoon Jong-hoon joined as the first guests of the new segment "With the famed sir."
During the segment "Jung Tae-ho's shim bwatda shim bwatso" a revelation that Moon Hee-kyung "lied about her age" attracted attention. She maintains her youth to the point that her age cannot be determined.
Yoon Jong-hoon said, "She is so lovely and the clothes that will appear in the drama are also very pretty," adding, "I usually get the latest trends from my senior."
Then Moon Hee-kyung said, "I live almost like a friend with my daughter. I am like a senior with my daughter's friends too. My home has always been open to my daughter's friends. They come and even sleep over. It's been that way since middle school. If you say it's like an open house and they're coming to our home, the parents all agreed," she said.
She said, "I think I should read the trends of young people even if I have to give them money to buy them a meal or a car. So I always live young, but I tell my daughter's friends, 'Let's go have a drink. I'll pay for it.' My daughter says, 'Mom, are you crazy? Why should we drink with you?' and I say, 'I'm paying, so let's go,'" she said, drawing laughter.
She continued, "My daughter is 26. So I approach it with a 30s mindset, as a life senior," and of a recent trend she learned, she said, "They came to our house and made 'Dubai jjondeuk cookie.' Since it felt odd to buy it, they brought the ingredients and made it at home. They made it and we tried it. I found out because young people like it."
