[OSEN] The group CORTIS, preparing for a comeback, has revealed for the first time the title of the mini album's title track, 'REDRED'.
CORTIS (Martin, James, Juhun, Seonghyun, Geonho) posted a surprise image related to the title track 'REDRED' on the team's official SNS channel at 9 p.m. on the 30th. In the image, a metal nameplate sits on a red background and the song title 'REDRED' is embossed, drawing attention.
'REDRED' is the title track of the mini album 'GREENGREEN', which will be released on May 4. 'GREENGREEN' is an album filled with what CORTIS aspires to. The members erase one guarded element at a time and reveal what CORTIS truly wants now. Attention is focused on the subject that the title track of the record reflecting the five members' tastes will address.
CORTIS will consecutively release the digital audio, music video, and a conceptual performance film focused on choreography for 'REDRED' at 6 p.m. on the 20th of next month, two weeks before the album release. They plan to begin music show activities the week they released the new song.
This comeback comes about eight months after their debut in August last year, and the strong anticipation for their new release is reflected in the numbers. On the global audio and music streaming platform Spotify, the pre-saves for 'GREENGREEN' surpassed 565,000 as of the 31st. The numbers have steadily risen since the album release announcement on the 6th.
Love calls from stages around the world are continuing. CORTIS will be the only K-pop boy group participating in the large U.S. music festival Lollapalooza Chicago in August. Even though they are a rookie with less than a year since debut, they will present a solo stage. In February, they headlined the NBA Crossover concert series, becoming the first K-pop singer to do so at the U.S. professional basketball association's music festival.
