Actor Hojo continues to maintain his presence once again in XO, Kitty: Season 3.
With the Netflix series XO, Kitty: Season 3 set to be released on Apr. 2, Hojo has confirmed his appearance once again following the previous season, raising expectations. Having made an impression in season 2 with steady acting and a natural portrayal of the character, attention is focused on his performance in the new season.
XO, Kitty is a spin-off of the popular Netflix series To All the Boys I Loved, and follows the coming-of-age process through episodes about life, love and family centering on Kitty, an American teenager studying abroad at a prestigious boarding school in Seoul. In particular, season 2 proved its global appeal by ranking high in Netflix global top 10 immediately after its release.
In the previous season, Hojo appeared as Ji-won, Kitty (played by Anna Cathcart)'s cousin who dreams of becoming an English teacher. With a bright and warm energy and visuals that combine Eastern and Western appeal, he showed a high level of sync with the character and blended naturally into the drama. He delivered English lines naturally, increasing immersion for global viewers, and completed the character's emotional arc convincingly with detailed facial expressions.
Having shown potential through season 2, Hojo returns this season as Ji-won to continue the character's narrative. He is expected to show delicate emotional changes again. As Kitty's story unfolds in earnest with the start of a new semester, anticipation is growing for the new relationships and emotional lines Hojo will portray.
Hojo, who has expanded his activities between Korea and the United States, has steadily built his filmography through various U.S. dramas and films. He later made a strong impression with a powerful performance in Big Bet on Disney+. Because he has naturally shown his presence even in global projects, interest continues in the new variations he will present in XO, Kitty: Season 3.
Meanwhile, XO, Kitty: Season 3, which will be released on Apr. 2, is set in Kitty's final year and depicts a process in which concerns about career, relationships and family deepen.
