JYP Entertainment's boy group KickFlip built anticipation for their new album with a teaser music content.
KickFlip is sequentially releasing teaser content such as a trailer, tracklist and concept photos on the group's official SNS channels ahead of the release of their fourth mini album "My First Kick" on Apr. 6. At 12 a.m. on the 30th, they released a track spoiler that plays part of the new song and raised comeback excitement.
The video condensed highlight sections of seven tracks, starting with the bouncy title track "I want to be noticeable" and including the refreshingly moody "Twenty," the upbeat "Stup!d," the hip mood of "Upside Down," the youthful "Scroll," the intense-sounding "Roar," and the rhythmic "My Direction." It also added viewing enjoyment by revealing each song's color with trendy screen direction and a cellphone photo album theme.
Earlier, on the afternoon of the 27th, they raised immersion with a blog post recording behind-the-scenes of the concept photo shoot posted on the 26th. The post conveyed enjoyment by showing the process of preparing a confession in a frank, straightforward style. Concept teasers that three-dimensionally portray KickFlip's challenges, such as first trip, first living alone, first part-time job and first confession, pique curiosity about the new album's message.
Coming about seven months after the mini third album My First Flip, this new release contains the spring of clumsy 20-year-olds for whom everything is a first and the continuing story of first love. Members' names appear on the credits for all songs, including the title track, revealing their musical personalities.
KickFlip's fourth mini album My First Kick and the title track "I want to be noticeable" will be available on various music sites at 6 p.m. on the 6th of next month. On the day of release, they will hold an Mnet M2 comeback show at 7 p.m. and a comeback showcase at 8 p.m.
