'Malja Show' Park Young-jin made the audience laugh by being jealous of his KBS classmate Heo Kyunghwan.
On the afternoon of the 30th, the KBS2 variety show 'Malja Show' aired as a 'office worker special', and empathy guests included comedian Park Young-jin and announcer Um Ji-in.
Park Young-jin said he had something to say to his fellow comedians from KBS class 22 and mentioned the recently "trendsetting" Heo Kyunghwan and Yang Sang-guk. He said "There are recently successful Heo Kyunghwan and Yang Sang-guk who go 'aigo baeya~'" and added "When we entered KBS there was a ranking, and those classmates were ranked lower than me, but now they're more successful than me."
"Is there a classmate you thought wouldn't do this well?" he asked, and replied, "Heo Kyunghwan? That friend actually wasn't originally into theater or comedy. He was into storytelling and talk, but he came to comedy and I thought he might last at most three months. But he's been doing well for 20 years," adding, "When a classmate does that well it becomes motivation. There are Heo Kyunghwan, Yang Sang-guk, Jang Do-youn, Park Seong-gwang, Jeong Beom-gyun, and if we stand in order I'm at the very back. But watch your backs, you guys," he warned, drawing laughter.
Jeong Beom-gyun asked, "Do you have anything you want to say to the two?" and Park Young-jin said, "As I always say, one of my mottos is that flowers that bloom early wither early. And a pot that boils quickly cools off quickly," delivering a blunt truth that made people laugh. Even so, he added, "I hope Yang can become like an earthenware pot so that the soup doesn't cool quickly, so that it can simmer for a long time," offering a kind wish.
