Anh Sung-jae, the chef on "Afterschool Teacher Taeri," delivered sharp judging.
On the 29th, the story of the sports day with world-renowned chef Anh Sung-jae continued on the tvN program "Afterschool Teacher Taeri," which aired that day.
Gangnam and Choi Hyun-wook prepared dinner themselves for Anh Sung-jae. The two ambitiously took on cooking to win over Anh Sung-jae's palate, and for a fair evaluation a blind tasting was held using the signature blindfold of "Culinary Class Wars."
Before judging, Anh Sung-jae expressed concern, saying, "Are you two going to be okay?" and Gangnam, with nervous determination, said, "I think we might get a little hurt, but I'll try my best."
The first contest dish was boiled pork belly carefully prepared by Gangnam. Kim Taeri, tasting with a blindfold on, left a mild comment, "It's boiled pork," while Anh Sung-jae pointed out, "It feels like the meat should have been cooked a bit more," and expressed disappointment with the balance of ingredients, saying, "Chewing raw garlic brought a strong garlic aroma that stings the mouth."
In an interview, Gangnam clicked his tongue and said, "As expected, Chef Anh Sung-jae is sharp. He's really scary."
Next, the buchujeon prepared by Choi Hyun-wook appeared. Anh Sung-jae, after one bite, commented, "Whether leek or chive, it was cooked too much and tastes bitter in the mouth." In an interview, Anh Sung-jae added a cold analysis that drew attention: "When I first ate it I thought it was a cookie. Being too crispy isn't always good. The ingredients started to burn, so the burnt taste lingers."
