'On 'Malja Show' Um Ji-in mentioned Jun Hyun-moo and bragged, "I used to be more successful."
The KBS2 variety show Malja Show, which aired on the afternoon of the 30th, was themed 'office worker special,' and empathy guests included comedian Park Young-jin and announcer Um Ji-in.
Um Ji-in, who has been gaining attention as a "KBS rising variety star," has recently been nicknamed "the second Jun Hyun-moo" and "female Jun Hyun-moo."
"Is there anyone saying I'm better than Jun Hyun-moo?" she was asked, and she replied, "My comments and surrounding articles say 'female Jun Hyun-moo,' 'the second Jun Hyun-moo,' 'she will become like Jun Hyun-moo,' but when I was working at the company I was the one who was doing well. And even now I think I am the top announcer in Korea. People should have high dreams," she said.
She added, "Even when we worked at the company, senior Jun Hyun-moo was the king of incident reports. He wrote many incident reports and got scolded. I only received first place in the evaluations. We are on different paths."
On her goals for the second half of the year, announcer Um Ji-in said, "Kim Young-hee was a candidate for the entertainment grand prize last year, and I was a candidate for best performer. In '26, my goal is to be a candidate for the grand prize."
When asked, "And then you're going to leave KBS, right?" Um Ji-in exclaimed, "Be quiet! What are you talking about," startled. Kim Young-hee announced, "The company president is here today," and Park Young-jin shouted, "Boss, I'm not leaving. I'm going to put down roots here. Um Ji-in will leave," drawing laughter.
