"Malja Show" host Um Ji-in mentioned senior Jun Hyun-moo's workplace romance during his announcer days.
On the afternoon of the 30th, KBS2 variety show "Malja Show" aired as a "office worker special," and empathy guests included comedian Park Young-jin and announcer Um Ji-in.
Conversation turned to office romances among workers, and Malja Halmae Kim Young-hee asked "Do we know anything about announcers' workplace romances?" Announcer Um Ji-in said "I've seen many workplace romances. There is a way to know whether they are dating or not," which drew attention.
Um Ji-in said, "In the announcers' room, it's not like this now, but in the past men had overnight shifts and women had late-night shifts. At night one man and one woman took the duty shift," adding, "But there were people who kept asking to change these shifts. When you change them, that partner always ends up being the same person."
She continued, "Those people were Jo Choong-hyun, Jo Woo-jong, and Jun Hyun-moo. I'll only say this much. They were always asking to swap. Then everyone knows. You think they don't know, but everyone knows," she revealed, prompting laughter.
Jo Choong-hyun married KBS announcer Kim Min-jung after a workplace romance, and Jo Woo-jong likewise ended up marrying KBS announcer Jeong Da-eun after a workplace romance. <
