New artist Para (PARA) announced a new start at RTST LABEL.
On the 30th, RTST LABEL said, "We recently signed an exclusive contract with Afrobeats artist Para," and "We will continue to provide full support so he can act as a global artist connecting Korea and Africa."
Para is an artist who performs Afrobeats, the modern African popular music that developed in Nigeria and Ghana from the late 2000s to the early 2010s. He went directly to Nigeria and ran various social media ads that received positive responses, and with the story of being a "Korean Afrobeats artist," he took a successful first step by drawing attention from local broadcasters, TV and radio, and various media.
Moreover, Para met Nigerian artist Bima and began full-fledged collaboration; they even released the joint track "GOGOGO," creating an unusual collaboration example between Korean and Nigerian artists and proving his potential for future growth.
Having actively continued activities in Nigeria such as producing music tracks, shooting music videos, creating cultural experience and lifestyle content, and building networks with local artists, Para plans to continue various projects at RTST LABEL and steadily expand his range of activities.
In particular, Para plans to release a mini album as his first project presented by RTST LABEL in April in Nigeria featuring emerging new musicians, and with the release as a starting point he is preparing activities in music and content, performances and brand collaborations.
Meanwhile, RTST LABEL is a label founded by producer R.Tee. It aims to present fashion, art and cultural content based on music, and in addition to Para, it recently signed an exclusive contract with global artist MLMA.
