At the press conference for KBS 1TV's new daily drama 'Gippeun uri joeun nal' (screenplay by Nam Seon-hye, directed by Lee Jae-sang), held online on the 30th, director Lee Jae-sang attended along with actors Yoon Jong-hoon, Eom Hyun-kyung, Jung Yoon, Yoon Da-young, Kim Hye-ok, Seon Woo-jae-deok, Yoon Da-hoon, Moon Hee-kyung, Lee Sang-sook, and Jung Ho-bin, among others, to talk.
The drama 'Gippeun uri joeun nal,' which premieres today (the 30th), is a melodramatic family drama about various generations who each want to be 'the protagonist of my life,' featuring a hair-trigger life-and-death struggle between the world's most perfect man and a bungling woman.
The director's chair was taken by Lee Jae-sang, who directed 'I Returned Once,' 'Father Is Strange,' 'Lovers of Trot,' and 'Pretty Man,' and the screenplay was written by writer Nam Seon-hye, who penned 'Suzy-mat-eun Uri' and 'Amor Fati - Love Now.'
On that day, director Lee Jae-sang said, "What I want to say as a director is that I am deeply grateful to the staff and actors who tried to make the best possible work with an unimaginably small production budget. We worked hard to make the drama, so please watch it a lot."
In response, Yoon Jong-hoon chimed in, "Hearing the director speak so sincerely moves my heart."
Meanwhile, KBS 1TV's 'Gippeun uri joeun nal' premieres today (the 30th) at 8:30 p.m.
