MC Cha Jeong-an of 'Dolsing N Mosol' expressed her feelings and expectations about joining the program.
The new MBC Every1 and E Channel variety show 'Dolsing N Mosol,' which premieres April 14, is an unprecedented, bold dating show in which divorced women who know the bitter taste of love and men with no dating experience at all enter a 'dating boarding school' to find true love. Cha Jeong-an, who has been loved by the public for her cool and easygoing charm, will appear as one of the three MCs alongside Kim Poong and Nucksal, generating anticipation.
Cha Jeong-an, who is taking on her first role as an MC on a dating program through 'Dolsing N Mosol,' said, "I wasn't someone who usually watched dating programs, but among my friends I was so popular that it was hard to join their conversations, and I thought, 'Should I start watching these too?' and just then I received the offer as if it were fate." She added, "The moment I saw the企划 intent I was certain, 'this is my first dating show!' and I had a hunch that there could be no fresher or more interesting dating show than this," revealing the decisive reason she decided to appear.
In fact, Cha Jeong-an married in December 2005 to a man three years her senior who was a marketing executive at a PR firm. On this point, Cha Jeong-an said the aspects she focused on most when commenting were 'courage' and 'consideration.' She said, "I think courage and consideration are key in relationships with people, including love," and added, "I wanted to support both the divorced women who open the door of their hearts closed by hurt to have the courage to love again and the mosol men who take the first step to start love. So I tried to immerse myself every moment and empathize sincerely so that the participants could find the courage to act."
She went on to emphasize 'consideration' regarding the relationships they will form. She said, "I was sometimes surprised by how different the participants looked day and night, and I realized at every moment that people's basic values and tendencies can be so different," conveying her amazement at the time.
